Frequently Asked Questions

What do I get for the price of the card? When you buy a card design the price includes:
- customisation of the invite with your photo, text and colour theme (if necessary)
- some minor photo editing (background and photo enhancement)
- jpg image for proofing (and corrections if necessary)
- final file in 6 x 4 inch size for saving and printing - this will be emailed to you
Optional: printed packages if required.

Can you arrange printing for me? For a complete package, you can order your cards as printed packs. Our cards are professionally printed by a qualified external printing company as 4 x 6" photos. They are an ideal choice as our printers produce high quality images without the colour distortion or cropping issues that you might find often occurs with local photo stores.

Do the printed cards come with envelopes? Envelopes can be supplied at an additional cost. Please email us to arrange.

When do I have to pay you? We require full payment before we commence the design work. Purchase online using paypal or contact us for alternate payment methods.

When will I get my invites? Once payment for your card has been made and all photos and information received we will begin work on your design. We will usually have a proof ready for your approval within 2-5 days. If you are ordering printed cards, you will need to allow a reasonable amount time for your order to be sent to our printers, processed and shipped to you. We would recommend allowing a further 2-3 weeks for printed cards. Delivery charges do apply.

What if there is a spelling error or mistake? It is your responsibility to provide us with the correct text and to check and accept the final proof of your invites.
First correction is free, charges apply thereafter.

Printing Terms & Conditions

If you are having your cards printed by st3rlite designs, please read the following information.

Colour Variations All our cards are digitally printed by professional print suppliers. There may be colour variations from what you have seen on screen, to the printed copy. This is the nature of CMYK printing (as opposed to RGB, which is what you see on your screen). If you print a proof on your own printer, keep in mind that depending upon the manufacturer of printing equipments, colours may vary slightly due to different ink used. We cannot be held responsible for colour variations, as it is beyond our control and we will not reprint at our expense as a result of such variations There can be a colour variation from run to run also, this may result in slight alterations in the colouring for repeat orders.

About Colours this is how you see colours on your screen (RGB)

this is how colours actually print out (CMYK)

RGB is the primary colour model used by electronic display devices (e.g., monitors). CMYK is the primary color model used by color printers and press machines. The only way you can be sure you are using the correct colours is to use a PANTONE COLOUR GUIDE BOOK.
